CAIRO: April 6 Movement insisted in a statement on dismissing the current government of Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, in a response to the bloody clashes witnessed in Tahrir Square recently. It called upon the formation of a national salvation government, adding they will resume their strike until the demands are executed. The movement criticized the excessive use of power against the peaceful demonstrators to dissolve the strike organized by the injured of Egyptian's revolution. They added the brutal actions to prevent the peaceful protests and strikes were adopted before by the former regime. The movement decided to resume their strike until executing the demands raised by Egyptians, including the dismissal of Sharaf's government, announcing the date of the next presidential elections immediately, forming a national salvation government with full authorities to lead the upcoming period and opening an investigation in the clashes that took place in Tahrir and punishing those who killed the peaceful demonstrators.
