A large march was organized in Aswan, criticizing the violent clashes between Egypt's security forces and the demonstrators on Saturday November 20. The demonstrators expressed their refusal of using excessive force by security forces against the peaceful demonstrators in the iconic Tahrir Square. They also criticized the arrest of political activists. Hundreds of activists and those who affiliate with the April 6 Movement, Kefaya Movement, Revolution Youth Movement, Democratic Front Party and other political powers rallied in al-Shohadaa Square in Aswan on Saturday November 19. The demonstrators demanded military rulers to hand over power to an elected civil authority and release political prisoners. They expressed solidarity with Tahrir Square demonstrators.
