CAIRO: Egyptian presidential candidate Amr Moussa said the solution of the current crisis lies in the retreat of police and military forces out of Tahrir Square, giving the protestors the chance to express their opinions and to avoid using violence. Moussa also said Egypt's ruling military council must set a specific plan to end the current transitional phase. “The situation is worrisome throughout Egypt, not only in Tahrir,” Moussa said. “The crisis is more than the protests.” Moussa also assured the youth have the right to protest and justified the state of disorder to the absence of vision about ending the transitional phase. Moussa added Al-Qahira Al-Youm program Egypt is taking steps to hold parliamentary elections, presidential elections and forming the constitution. “Egyptians wondered why the military council is delaying the transfer authority to an elected civilian government,” Moussa said. However Moussa asked, if the military council transfers authority, who will receive it?
