CAIRO: Fierce clashes again took place between Egyptian security forces and demonstrators in front of the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior this afternoon. The clashes resulted in many injuries on both sides of the battle. The Central Security Forces used tear gas, which resulted in many demonstrators suffering breathing issues. Hundreds of CSF soldiers fanned out around the ministry. Clashes in Tahrir Square yesterday left over 900 individuals with injuries. The CSF forces used tear gas to disperse demonstrators and protestors retaliated with Molotov cocktails and burning tires. About 10 CSF cars and two armored vehicles are parked in front of the ministry. The streets leading to the ministry are also shut down. Meanwhile protestors have secured control of Mohamed Mahmoud Street, where fierce battles took place all night. 10 central security cars and two armored are placed before the ministry building. Security forces closed streets surround the ministry and prevented people and cars entering them. Meanwhile protestors completely controlled Mohamed Mahmoud street.
