Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty has held recent talks with Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi and Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in a bid to help revive stalled negotiations over Iran's nuclear programme. According to a statement from the foreign ministry on Monday, the discussions were aimed at creating conditions for the resumption of talks between Tehran and the IAEA and bridging differences among stakeholders. Cairo is also engaging with the United States and Britain, France and Germany – or the E3 –to push for diplomatic solutions, prevent escalation, and foster regional stability, it added.
