CAIRO: The Egyptian Health Ministry today increased the injury total from today's Tahrir Square clashes to 507 persons, according to spokesperson Mohammad el-Sherbini. At least 442 people received treatment on-site near Tahrir, while another 65 were admitted to Qasr el-Eini Hospital, French Qar el-Eini Hospital, the Police Hospital and the Sednawi Hospital, el-Sherbini added. Nineteen soldiers were injured in the clashes. Fifty-seven of those treated in hospital were released while another eight persons are still receiving treatment. There are no severe cases, the ministry reported. Later, 57 injured people left the hospitals, while eight persons are still receiving the medical curing. There are no sever injured cases.
