MAPCO workers suspend strike for one day

MAPCO workers decided to suspend their strike for one day to pave the way for the November 18 demonstration scheduled to be held tomorrow in Cairo's Tahrir Square.
Saeed Hamza, one of the workers, said they held a meeting with the head of the company and decided to suspend their strike for a day because of Friday's demonstrations.
He added that they will complete their strike on Saturday in front of the Cabinet to demand their rights and to prove that their company does not harm the environment.
