CAIRO: More than 70,000 Coptic Christians gathered at Mokattam monetary to participate in an international day for praying for Egypt on Friday, November 11. Copts flowed to Cairo's Manshaet Nasser neighborhood to participate in the prayer night, which continued into Saturday morning. Priest of the monastery Samaan Ibrahim and priest Sameh Moris attended the prayer. The celebration started with a choir who presented chants for Egypt. Thousands of participants carried Egypt's flags amid Christian chants and songs but without raising any religious symbols or slogans. Priest Samaan said, “Today is the day of praying for Egypt and its people, and a message to bless our country.”
