Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Dawood Oghlu appreciated Egypt's efforts aimed at easing the repercussions of the recent earthquake in Turkey. Oghlu said that a number of countries expressed solidarity with Turkey after the disaster, which left about 600 dead. He added that the countries had also expressed their readiness to organize relief campaigns to help the Turkish people. He said many countries, including Egypt, Finland and Canada, expressed their support for Turkey, adding that they had offered the necessary aid to Turkey when it announced its acceptance of relief aids.
