The Egyptian Tourism Companies' Chamber today announced that it will halt all business with 52 foreign companies, including Israeli company Mazada Tours, for failure to pay debts to Egyptian companies. The Chamber urged both the defaulting companies and their respective embassies to pay Egyptian creditors. The Chamber also mentioned that the Ministry of Tourism has the authority to mete penalties to such companies, including revocation of license for six to 12 months or complete cancellation from the Chamber.
