The Israeli Prisons Authority moved 22 Egyptian prisoners out of their prison in southern Israel to pave the way for a prisoner exchange that would release Ilan Grapel, an American accused of spying for Israel, for 25 Egyptian prisoners in the Israeli prisons, said the spokeswoman of the Israeli Prisons Authority. She added that three Egyptian minors would be released as a part of the exchange. The Israeli newspaper, Haartez, said that an envoy of Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, will arrive in Cairo Thursday with a number of officials who led the negotiations with the Egyptian side to receive the Grapel at 3:30 PM. The newspaper added that Grapel's mother would accompany the Israeli officials to Cairo to receive her son. The Israeli prisoner will not conduct any interviews with the media after returning to Israel, while newspapers will receive his photos after meeting with Netanyahu. The newspaper said that it is not sure if Grapel will hold a press conference to clarify the details of his imprisonment.
