Freedom and Development Party to announce new alliance

The Supreme Authority of the Freedom and Development Party (FDP) announced its final withdrawal from the Democratic Alliance because the list of elections revealed that the controlling interest is held by the Freedom and Justice Party, said Yasser Helmy, the Deputy Chairman of the Party.
The FDP will join the Egypt is Beyond Everyone's Alliance. This alliance includes 25 parties, including:
• Democratic Union Party
• Young Egypt Party
• Social Peace Party
• Democratic People Party
• Al Sahwa Party
The new alliance also includes some members of the Revolutionary Youth Union, the Revolutionary Committees in Upper Egypt, and groups of independents in electoral regions like Cairo, Giza, Qena, Sohag, Port Said and Suez.
The Alliance is holding emergency meetings to prepare for the electoral lists, Helmy added.
