CAIRO: The National Unity March, which was organized by national political forces, the revolution's youth coalition and Coptic movements, finally returned to Tahrir Square tonight after spending some time outside Maspiro demonstrating and voicing demands. There was a lack of military personnel at Maspiro, and only the gates to the entrance were guarded and blocked with barbed wire to prevent demonstrators from entering the premises. There was however a large contingent of central security forces on site in the event of clashes. After the demonstrators performed the Al Maghreb prayer, they returned to Tahrir Square.
