CAIRO: The National Egyptian Unity March that was originally headed back to the iconic Tahrir Square from the Coptic Cathedral in Abassiya stopped outside the Coptic Hospital on Ramses Street to greet the Coptic martyrs and condemn the Maspiro incidents. They also called on the manager of the hospital to release the death reports of the victims from Maspiro. There were scattered clashes between the demonstrators and drivers due to the traffic bottlenecks. Demonstrators however changed their course to Maspiro instead of Tahrir Square where they joined with other marchers condemning the Maspiro clashes. The march organizers suggested going to Maspiro instead of Tahrir. Some participating sheikhs assured that their participation is out of solidarity, and said that they refuse any attempt to manipulate houses of worship. Arabic here
