CAIRO: Demonstrators participating in the National Unity march started moving from outside the cathedral in Abassiya and headed toward Tahrir Square to continue their demonstration. The march began to leave the cathedral after many demonstrators performed the al-Assr prayer outside the church to show solidarity with the Maspiro victims. Demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the ruling military council and the Minister of Information. They called for trials for those involved in the clashes, which reportedly resulted 3,000 deaths and injuries.
