CAIRO: Egyptian security forces today beefed up their presence outside the Radio and Television Headquarters (Maspiro) and on the 6th of October and May 15 bridges in Cairo. The security staff deployed more than 35 police cars, three armored vehicles and a large contingent of military personnel. Meanwhile, dozens of protestors held vigil outside Maspiro to condemn the incidents and highlight the national unity necessary for Egypt to maintain order. Some peoples' committees organized the traffic flow on the Nile Corniche Street and removed security forces' roadblocks.
