Assistant of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs of abroad Egyptian Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Ragheb, assured the participation of Egyptians abroad in the electoral process won't count on the Minister of Foreign Affairs' decision but the decision of the Higher Elections Committee (HEC). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will implement HEC's decision if the institute decides on the possibility of the participations of Egyptians abroad to vote in the elections. “We have a problem in getting an accurate number of Egyptians living abroad because most of them didn't record their names,” Ragheb said during his interview in Al-Haya Al-Youm TV program, with broadcaster Lobna Assal on El Haya1 channel. The Minister of Foreign Affairs estimated the number of Egyptians abroad could be from 9 to 10 million. They are trying to provide a committee to solve problem of Egyptians abroad. In other news, Ragheb added it hasn't been proved so far if Doctor Karim Asaad was killed or died of natural causes in London, where his family demanded to send an Egyptian physician to examine Asaad's body. Ragheb said although the demand was difficult, because it is an expression of doubt to the British judiciary, the demand was accepted on the same day it was sent to the Egyptian consulate and the office of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He stressed if Egyptian labors contracted on a certain salary and found a lower salary when they traveled to another country, they shouldn't work there and to head to the labor advisor and hold on to the terms of the contract. He pointed out certain problems at Egyptian embassies abroad but he said also there are many advantages that can't be ignored.
