CAIRO: Egyptian activist Wael Ghonim said political parties and powers that met with Egypt's ruling military council and support its continuing in that role for two years do not have popular opinion with them. Ghonim posted a message from his Facebook account to those parties that said, "May God dash your hopes." "The military council issued a statement after the match between Zamalek and Tunisia, but we received the constitutional statement after two days," said Ghonim. Ghoniem referred to his page on Twitter. He said that the revolution was against some people monopolizing the rule, and said it is foolishness to let 20 people define Egypt's destiny.
