The head of the Oil Pipelines Company, Alaa Abdel Latif, said the company is preparing a plan to provide petroleum products. He added the company is keen on regularly providing and transferring petroleum products. He said the company is meeting demands of people by operating, supervising and securing the pipelines despite the conditions of Egypt since the Egyptian January 25 Revolution. Abdel Latif said the company transferred 58.2 million tons of products, condensates and crude oil. He added the company executed a number of projects, such as developing and renewing pipelines in addition to operating the LGP pumps in Suez to confront the increasing consumption. He added the company managed to achieve 897 million EGP (U.S. $150.2 million) in revenues, while profits reached 113 million EGP (U.S. $18.9 million).
