Egypt's permanent representatives in the UN assured Arab countries will to continue to support Palestine in all its demands, even if it means going to Security Council and demanding a full membership in the UN and going to the General Assembly to request recognition for the Palestine State. “We listened to U.S. President Barack Obama and French President Nicola Sarkozy's point of views,” Egypt's permanent representative to the UN, Maged Abdel Fattah Abdel Aziz, said on Channel One yesterday. He ensured the continual support from Arabs and non-aligned countries to all Palestinian demands in the UN. “The U.S. will use the right to Veto if the recognition to Palestine state wasn't mentioned in UN,” Abdel Fattah said. “The U.S. seeks to pressure other members of the UN to reduce the nine votes needed to allow the decision, so it is not alone by using Veto.” “The intentions of the U.S. won't affect the support from Arab and non-aligned countries in helping Palestine. There were 134 countries that provided recognition to Palestine in 1967 and these countries are still insisting on their decision.” There will be a committee today to contact with the 20 countries who will agree to recognize the Palestine state, Abdel Fattah said. France supports and Sarkozy's demands Palestine to go to the General Assembly and not to the UN.
