Security forces were heavily deployed in front of the Police Academy hosting the trial of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, his sons Alaa and Gamal, former Interior Minister Habib el-Adly and six of Adly's top aides, who are accused of killing demonstrators during the January 25 Revolution. Three armored cars, 20 security vehicles, a van belonging to Central Security Services, fire-fighting vehicles, a number of ambulances, and a large contingent of military police were seen outside the police academy. Minister of the Interior General Mansour el-Issawy is scheduled to testify in the case. Tuesday the court heard the testimony of Omar Suleiman, the former Vice-President and head of Egyptian intelligence services.
