Ministry of Interior declares state of alert

CAIRO: Egyptian Minister of Interior Mansour el-Issawy declared a state of alert early Saturday morning after demonstrators broke into the Israeli Embassy in Cairo and attempted to break into the Giza security headquarters.
Issawy also canceled all police vacations.
In related news, an Israeli military aircraft has arrived at Cairo International Airport to evacuate all Israeli nationals from Cairo to Tel Aviv, including the ambassador.
The Israeli ambassador declined to make any statement from Cairo airport and refused entry to any television camera.
