CAIRO: Five Kuwaiti lawyers who volunteered to help defend former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived today at the Cairo International Airport. The lawyers will join the legal team already working on behalf of the ousted president. Supporters of Mubarak, whose murder and corruption trial resumes tomorrow, greeted the lawyers in the airport's VIP lounge. The Kuwaiti lawyers, headed by Faisal al-Otaibi and Bashayer Kheir, will hold a press conference in the Sheraton Hotel in Cairo on September 5 to clarify the motivation behind their assistance in Mubarak's trial.
