Egypt press reported the check of 477 new prosecutors to know if they drug addicts or drink alcohol before being appointed. Reports also include new changes in the Egyptian personal status Law and the problem of Egyptian pilgrims in Jeddah Airport. Youm7: The daily newspaper Youm7 reported the head forensic doctor said 477 new prosecutors were medically checked to test if they are drug addicts. If they are, they won't be appointed in the prosecution. The results will be issued within a few days. The paper said 10 Kuwaiti defense lawyers who will advocate the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will arrive at International Cairo Airport. The Kuwaiti lawyers will defend Mubarak in the case of killing the protesters of the Egyptian January 25 Revolution. The lawyers, who got permission from Egyptian Court of Appeal, said they did not intervene in internal affairs. They added Mubarak should not be trialed as if he is a dead person. The lawyers added the trial could last several years and if Mubarak dies before being sentenced, the case will end. Al-Ahram: State-run newspaper said the head of Family Court, Mohammad Ezat el-Shazli, said there will be a great change in the Personal Status Laws after 30 years of family tension. He said the law of Khula, the woman's right to divorce or separate from her husband in Islam, contradicts the Islamic Sharia Law. El-Shazli said both the husband and wife should agree upon the Khula. El-Shazli said the new Law focuses on Coptic Christians' problem of getting married the second time. Al-Akhbar: Egyptian presidential candidate, Abdullah al-Ashaal, said Mubarak should be buried in Israel and a statue of him should be erected in Haifa, Israel. Al-Ashaal said the current government is just a show. He called upon Egyptians to rebel against any executioner pretending to protect Egypt. Al-Masry Al-Youm: The crisis of Egyptian pilgrims stranded in Jeddah Airport did not end yet. There are accusations from the pilgrims against the Egyptian Foreign Ministry since it failed to solve their problems. They also criticized the Egyptian Ambassador in Saudi Arabia. A Saudi Arabian source said the Saudi Arabian government is figuring out how to fine Saudi Arabian airlines since they did not adhere to the executives of protecting the customer. Al-Shorouq: The Egyptian presidential candidate, Mohammad el-Baradei, said he cannot launch his presidential electoral campaigns amid the circumstances in Egypt. He added the relationship between the Egyptian citizens and the Army needs deep discussions. “I refuse the Turkish style of the army governing behind a veil,” El-Baradei. He called for the establishment of the National Security Council and giving responsibilities to the constitutional Court to protect the civil state. El-Baradei noted the military entity should confront organized crime and terrorism. El-Baradei also believes the military entity should confront Israel, which is worried about Egypt's power, which could drive Israel to stop its immoral policy towards Palestinians. Al- Gomhorreya: The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture aims to develop and enhance the agricultural sector and rural development, according to Egyptian Minister of Agriculture, Salah Farag. He added farming Egyptian cotton is top priority since it is necessary for spinning and textile factories.
