The Egyptian El-Mesaharaty is performing at a gallery called Folan El-Folany tonight at Saad Zaghloul Cultural Center at Beet El Omma Museum. El-Mesaharaty's show includes songs from actor improvisations and folk stories quoted from the great poets, Salah Gahin, Foad Hadad, Islam Abdel Moneim and Ahmed Foad Negm. The show was written and directed by Abeer Ali, starring Mariam Ghatas, Mohamed Abdel Moaz, Ghada, Seba Badawy and Moataz. The show is concerned with the idea of reminding people the time for Sohour in the holy Islamic month of Ramadan. The show depicts Egyptian incidents before and after January 25 Revolution. The show is about a family who discuss the necessity of participating in the January 25 Revolution, a girl who finds herself helping injured people in Tahrir square, despite her fears of going to Tahrir. The show discusses the sectarian issues and Coptoc Christians' protests in front of Maspiro. It also presents relations between Muslim and Christian neighborhoods.
