CAIRO: An Egyptian pilgrim heading to Saudi Arabia to perform the Umra pilgrimage died at Cairo International Airport today before boarding his aircraft. He was to take part in the Umra, the Islamic pilgrimage in which Muslims visit the Islamic holy places in Saudi Arabia. The incident began when the man suffered from a sharp drop in blood pressure, so his wife demanded medical aid at the airport. Airport authorities summoned the doctor of quarantine to save the citizen. The doctor discovered the death of the pilgrim before ascending to the plane to transfer him to Jeddah. His wife stressed that her husband's death was natural.
