Egypt's press reported a number of issues, including al-Adly's appeal against the Administrative Court's rule to fine him 300 million EGP (U.S. $50.36 million). The fine is in compensation for losses resulting from cutting of mobile and internet services during the January 25 Revolution. The decision was for Egyptian Minister of Finance to pay an allowance of pension for people. Youm7: Youm7 obtained the reports the medical committee made on former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The report recommended not to transfer Mubarak out of Sharm al-Shiekh hospital, warning transferring him could threaten his life. Youm7 knew Mubarak will somehow avoid the first session of his trial. His lawyer, Fareed al-Dib, will present the medical committee's report to the court. The report said Mubarak's health state prevents him from attending the trial. On the other hand, the human rights delegation visited Torah prison on Saturday but did not see Mubarak's sons, Gamal and Alaa. The delegation visited the prison cells in which about 38 of the figures of the former regime are imprisoned. They also visited the prison hospital and the intensive care room in which Mubarak is expected to be transferred to. Al-Ahram: There was an intense security presence on Saturday; security and military authorities managed to control the state of Security in Arish and North Sinai after clashes erupted late last Friday. Military and police security spread throughout the city to prevent those involved in the attack from escaping to the mountains. The chairman of Cairo's Court of Appeal, Al-Sayed Abdel Aziz, said Mubarak's trial will be conducted at the Police Academy in New Cairo for security factors. He added the defendants will appear in front of the head of the circuit, Judge Ahmed Refaat, and he will hold a press conference on Sunday to announce the measures to allow media cover the session. Al-Akhbar: The investigation committee of aviation accidents started working to reveal reasons of the fire that erupted in the cabin of an aircraft on Friday. The plane was preparing for a journey to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf resumed his consultations to choose new governors, which is expected to change most of Egypt's governorates. Al-Masry Al-Youm: The leader of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), Hussien Tantawi, formed a committee from the members of the council to help fund the victims of the January 25 Revolution by paying them in compensations. Tantawi decided to increase the compensation for the martyrs' families to 30,000 EGP (U.S. $5,000). Al-Shorouq: Egypt's political powers launched a criticism campaign against what they described as violation committed by the Islamic movements during the demonstration last Friday in Tahrir Square. Demonstrators in Tahrir resumed their strike after the day after Friday's demonstrations. The demonstrators expressed their anger at the Islamists who raised controversial religious slogans during the demonstrations. Al-Gomhoreya: The number of victims of Arish's accident increased to 18 injured and five dead. Teams from the prosecution headed to the area to find details of the incident. Ten armed and security forces were also injured during the clashes. South Sinai's security director, Mohamed Naguib Issa, said they didn't receive any orders about transferring Mubarak out of Sharm al-Shiekh. He said they prepared a comprehensive plane to secure transferring him for prosecution in coordination with security authorities.
