CAIRO: Dr. Ahmed Gamal Moussa, Minister of Education, will ask prominent novelist Khairy Shalaby to meet with Arabic language specialists in the ministry to help teachers qualify their students for creativity and innovation in the Arabic language. In a press conference, Moussa said he read Shalaby's articles published in the daily newspaper Al-Ahram, in which Shalaby explained how his teachers pushed him to write and express himself in his secondary school and prompted him to continue writing. Moussa acknowledged that the ministry has failed to implement a plan to develop its educational books. "There are proposals to bring curriculums from developed nations. I don't mind, but there is no consensus from these nations on their curriculums," he said. Moussa added that he is ready to implement India's experience of developing educationa according to society's requirements. He said, "We will send officials to India and bring experts from there to review the quality system which is implemented currently in the educational institutions. We aim to implement good governance in schools management and improve the role of schools managers and Board of Trustees."
