Shikabala scored a consolation goal for Al-Wasl in a 3-1 league defeat to Mohamed Zidan's Bani Yas as both players were forced off with injuries. A torrid night for both Egyptians saw Bani Yas claim a deserved win in Abu Dhabi, thanks to a brace from Andre Senghor and a goal by Ahmed Fawzi in between. Zidan's game lasted no more than 13 minutes after he fell awkwardly in what appeared to be a knee problem. The Egyptian's exit was however followed by a couple of headed goals for his team, before Shikabala pulled one back for Al-Wasl on the hour mark. But Senegalese striker Senghor managed to kill the game off with his second of the game.
