Mohamed Zidan scored two well-taken goals to inspire a dramatic 3-1 victory for Bani Yas over Al-Nasr. Bani Yas took the lead through Youssef Gaber after 13 minutes but Italian Giuseppe Mascara equalized for Al-Nasr four minutes later. The scoreline remained tied until two one minute from the end when Zidan grabbed the winner with a brilliant piece of skill. The Egypt forward then completed his brace in the fourth minute of injury time to put the game to bed. The win lifted Bani Yas to third place, only point behind leaders Al-Ain. Shika's Wasl held Elsewhere, Shikabala's Al-Wasl were held to a goalless draw by Al-Jazira. Al-Wasl slipped to ninth place but have a game in hand.
