Egypt have maintained their position in 40th place in the FIFA monthly ranking for national teams but are now sixth continentally. Egypt, who failed to reach the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, gained no points this month as they remained 40th along with Bulgaria. Ivory Coast remained in charge of African nations, followed by Algeria, Mali, Ghana and Zambia. All five nations have qualified for next year's CAN finals in South Africa.
