Egypt move up in FIFA ranking

Egypt have moved up two places in the FIFA monthly ranking for national teams despite playing no games of late.
The Pharaohs are now 38th as they trail five African nations in Libya, Mali, Ghana Algeria and Ivory Coast continentally.
Egypt are set to play two friendly games against Benin and Cameroon this month as their next competitive game comes in March 2013.
FIFA's monthly ranking system weigh all international matches over a rolling four-year cycle.
