Abou-Treika clears the air with Ahli mates

Mohamed Abou-Treika had a clear-the-air meeting with his Ahli teammates following the recent Super Cup game saga, FilGoal.com has learnt.
Upon the request of manager Hossam Al-Badri, Abou-Treika convened with the team to patch things up after causing controversy by pulling out of the ENPPI game this week.
Some of his teammates demanded a public apology but it has been agreed that the midfield icon will train individually for several weeks after ‘putting his colleagues under pressure'.
Abou-Treika's decision to back the ultras' rejection of holding last Sunday's game sparked widespread controversy, but it has been only disappointment inside his club.
Ahli have decided to ban him for two months plus an EGP 500,000 fine; the first disciplinary action against him since he had joined the club in 2004.
