Ahli and Egypt striker Emad Meteb faces three months out as he could need surgery to treat a hamstring injury, the club's doctor revealed. “Meteb could be in need for surgery. We will make a decision in 48 hours," Ahli chief doctor Ihab Ali told the club's website. “If he had this operation, he could be out of action for three months. “This is caused by old injuries he had in his back in recent years. It is affecting his hamstring badly." Meteb, who missed Ahli's 1-1 Champions League draw at Chelsea due to the injury, played four games with the Egypt Olympic team at the London Games.
