Egypt will be without wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic due to injury, FilGoal.com has learnt. The Sunderland defender sustained a hamstring injury in training on Wednesday and failed to pass a fitness test ahead of the team's flight to Bangui. A replacement player has yet to be named, knowing that Ahli's Ahmed Fathi and Arab Contractors' Basem Ali are the two right-backs available for manager Bob Bradley. Elmohamady started for Egypt in the 3-2 first-leg defeat to CAR but was replaced by Fathi at half time after an unimpressive performance. Egypt face a tough task on Saturday as they aim to overturn their home defeat to the African outsiders and maintain hope of qualifying for the CAN 2013 finals.
