Egypt coach Diaa Al-Sayed is hoping for an improvement in the domestic competition as he conceded that the national team's management has to rely on local players in the meantime. The Pharaohs are preparing to face Central African Republic in the CAN 2013 qualifiers in February as Bob Bradley's assistant carries on monitoring league games. Al-Sayed admitted that the lack of foreign-based players limits the Egypt management's selection options. “I hope that local players can hit a good form soon because obviously even the big teams in the league are inconsistent,” the Egypt second man told Nile Sport TV. “At last we make our choices from league players as we have no other option. “(Ahmed) Elmohamady has not been playing since the new (Sunderland) manager had arrived and (Mohamed) Zidan is not playing at all. “So we are hoping for a progress in the level of league games in order to be able to make a good mixture before the Central African Republic match.”
