Egypt Cup champions ENPPI will fly to Mali on Sunday for the Confederation Cup clash with Cercle Bamako despite recent uncertainty over the trip, the FA said. The Cairo club, who have a 3-1 first-leg lead, have been reluctant to visit the Western African nation amid political unrest between the military junta and counter-coup soldiers. ENPPI's fears were increased after league holders Ahli were stranded by the local fighting following their Champions League tie at Stade Malien. Ahli were forced to stay for four extra days after their 1-0 defeat, with ENPPI declaring that their ‘squad's safety is more important that winning the tie'.
