Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef is adamant that striker Mido will not leave the club following a rift with chairman Mamdouh Abbas. Mido, who returned to his boyhood club in the winter break last season, vowed to end his spell at the Cairo giants in the wake of a row with Abbas, claiming that the chairman sent him out of his office. The 29-year-old revealed that late dues are the reason behind the dispute, which seems to have incensed the club's reinstated chief's furious reaction. “Mido is one of the sons of Zamalek; it is impossible for him to leave or file a complaint against the club. Everything can be sorted out,” Ismail told reporters on Tuesday. “I am sure he will remain at Zamalek, even his coaching career after he retires would be through his club. “The management has yet to discuss the matter with him or any board member but I am sure we will have it resolved soon.” Mido's overdue wages are estimated to be in the region of EGP 4.7million as he is deemed one of the highest-paid players in Egypt since returning to the Whites from Dutch side Ajax. He will miss the Champions league game at Moroccan side Maghreb Fes after failing to recover from a back injury in time to take part in the last-16 clash.
