Mido says he has decided to leave Zamalek following an incident that saw chairman Mamdouh Abbas send him out of his office. The 29-year-old striker revealed that a torrid chat with Abbas two weeks ago escalated into a major rift with the chairman, who seemed to be angry when Mido asked about his late dues. “I had a meeting with chairman Mamdouh Abbas two weeks ago. We discussed several issues but when I asked about my late dues, he told me: ‘you don't need money',” Mido told Dream TV. “He also said that I didn't do enough for the club to ask for money. “I told him that this does not happen anywhere in the world and this will not work, then I was shocked when Mr. Abbas told me: ‘get out of my office'. “This incident could be the beginning of the end for me with Zamalek. I decided that I cannot play for Zamalek under such conditions. “I think what happened is enough to let me decide that I will never play for Zamalek and that I will seek my rights through legal means.” Mido, who became the highest-paid Zamalek player after returning last year from Ajax, has only started one game for the Whites since making his second comeback. It is believed that the total late dues of the former Tottenham striker with the club are around EGP 4.7million.
