The Pharaohs became 55th of the world as they were one of best-three movers in the top 60, including North African neighbors Libya, who leaped up to 46th place. Egypt's shock failure to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations took its toll on its ranking in recent months, with the next competitive game taking place in June.
