Ittihad guardian Al-Hani Soliman says he could team-up with David Beckham at Los Angeles Galaxy. Soliman, 27, claims that a trial offer from the MLS side was brokered by Egypt goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdul-Fattah who used to work with manager Bob Bradley in the US before taking charge of the Pharaohs. “I received the offer via coach Zaki Abdul-Fattah,” he told FilGoal.com from USA on Monday. “I am currently on trial at LA Galaxy and I will join them on a six-month loan should Ittihad accept the offer. Chairman Effat Sadat promised to let me go if I succeeded in the trial.” Should the deal go through, Soliman will end an eight-year spell at Ittihad, a stint that saw him receive several Egypt call-ups since 2008. He was, however, likely to be confined to the bench at the Alexandria club following the winter arrival of Egypt number one Essam Al-Hadari from Merreikh.
