Egypt's goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah is very confused with the various ready choices of goalkeepers in the Egyptian Premier league. “I am very happy with the outstanding performance of Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed [Zamalek], Sherif Ekramy [Ahly], Ahmed El-Shinnawy [Masry] and Ali Lotfy [ENNPI],” Abdel-Fattah told a TV program late on Tuesday. “I am confused about choosing the best goalkeepers to gurad Egypt in the coming period,” added the former USA goalkeeping coach. Under the guidance of new American coach Bob Bradley, the Pharaohs are supposed to play two friendlies against Botswana and Kenya in February as part of the preparations for 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers which kick off against Central African Republic later the same month. The new technical staff of the Seven-time Africa's champions, Egypt, is currently monitoring the domestic League matches before announcing the final squad on 8 February. During former coach Hassan Shehata's era, The Pharaohs' net was guarded by evergreen keeper Essam El-Hadary, who is currently away of the pitch. “Until we announce the final squad, I hope that El-Hadary completes his move to Ittihad of Alexandria from Sudan's Merreikh to rejoin the competition of guarding the national team,” concluded Abdel-Fattah.
