Egypt starlet Mohamed Salah is braced for a medical test at Swiss side Basel ahead of a summer move from Arab Contractors. The Swiss champions have been keeping tabs on the talented playmaker during the past few days as talks are believed to be at an advanced stage. “I will undergo a medical test in the upcoming few days, but I do not know the financial details of the deal,” Salah told Modern Sport TV channel on Tuesday. “There are some terms that have yet to be finalized to complete the move.” It has been reported that Basel are willing to pay €3.5million for the services of Salah, who urged his club to allow him to make the move to Europe. The 19-year-old burst onto the scene as a hot prospect for the future after putting in some impressive displays in last summer's U-20 World Cup in Colombia. He is now an established member of the Egypt first team, having scored two goals in five internationals so far.
