Qatar cuts key interest rates by 25 bps

Qatar's central bank (QCB) has reduced its key interest rates by 25 basis points, effective Thursday. The QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) was lowered to 4.35 per cent, the Lending Rate (QCBLR) to 4.85 per cent, and the Repo Rate (QCBRR) to 4.60 per cent.
According to the bank's statement, the move aligns with global monetary policy trends aimed at supporting liquidity and maintaining financial stability.
