Zamalek are set for a 10-day camp in Dubai where they will play three friendly games, including a meeting with Spanish Primera Liga side Rayo Vallecano. “We'll travel on March 10 to play against Rayo Vallecano on the 13th and then Al-Wasl three days later,” Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef told FilGoal.com. “The third friendly will be against a European team or a high-profile team from the Gulf.” Zamalek were initially poised to camp in Tunis after receiving a friendly invitation from Club Africain, but decided to change destination to the UAE. Spanish side Rayo are currently 11th in the Liga, whereas Al-Wasl – managed by Diego Maradona – lie fifth in the UAE First League. Zamalek's city rivals Ahli are currently camping in Dubai as well.
