Zamalek star Shikabala is not interested in a move to the Chinese league despite a lucrative offer from Shandong, according to the Egypt midfielder's agent. FilGoal.com has learnt that Shandong tabled a €2million bid for the 25-year-old, plus an alternative option to loan him for eighth months for $1million. While Zamalek board member Sabri Serag admitted that the offer ‘might be considered' should this season's domestic league be called off for good, Shika settled it by rejecting the move to China. “We appreciate the interest from the Chinese club but the move is not possible,” Shikabala's agent Samir Abdul-Tawab told FilGoal.com. “Shikabala is not thinking about leaving Zamalek, and if it happened he wouldn't be interested in a move to China. He would have chosen the offer from Ittihad Jeddah.” It was reported that Saudi giants Ittihad were keeping tabs on Shikabala before they snapped up Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou on a six-month loan from Ismaili.
