Ahli midfielder Moataz Eno snubbed MCDR to join Smouha on loan despite agreeing terms with the former. The 27-year-old was set to sign for MCDR on a six-month deal, but a contractual disagreement forced him to change destination. “After I had agreed terms with MCDR and only the signature was left, I realized a change to our initial agreement, so I decided to pull out,” Eno told FilGoal.com. “On the contrary, the Smouha board showed full respect and accepted all my conditions, so I made the move.” Eno was set to part ways with Ahli in search of first-team football, only for the Reds to give him the option of a short-term loan rather than a permanent move. The former Zamalek midfielder will run out of contract by the end of the current season.
