Ahli have loaned out midfielder Moataz Eno to MCDR until the end of the season, football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz has confirmed. The 27-year-old was set to leave Ahli over lack of first-team football, but the league holders don't seem to be ready to offload him on a permanent basis. “The management refused to dispose of Eno permanently, so he has been loaned out to MCDR,” Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. “I think this move could help him for a better return to Ahli.” Eno, who signed from Zamalek in 2007, has been struggling to find a place in the Reds' midfield recently, with coach Manuel Jose relying on the services of Hossam Ashour, Hossam Ghaly and Mohamed Shawky. Meanwhile, Ahli are considering the future of young duo Afrotto and Mohamed Talaat, who ended a short-term spell with Ittihad.
