Egypt Olympic coach Hany Ramzy is adamant that his side will perform better in the U-23 CAN, following an unconvincing win over Gabon in the opener. Egypt claimed a 1-0 victory over the Group B outsiders as they gear up for a tougher test against Ivory Coast, who represented Africa in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. “The important thing is that we took the three points. We know that the kickoff is always difficult in any tournament,” Ramzy said after the game in Marrakech. “We made things difficult for ourselves as we didn't capitalize on our opponents' weaknesses, but I think we'll perform better against Ivory Coast and South Africa.” Ivory Coast were held to a 1-1 draw by South Africa on Sunday.
