Ahli striker Fabio Junior has been ruled out of next week's CAF Champions League clash with MC Alger due to an ankle injury, the club said on their website. The Egyptian champions confirmed via doctor Walid Abdul-Baqi that the Brazilian will not be able to make the Alger game after suffering a second-degree strain. Fabio sustained the injury in the dying minutes of this week's friendly win over Police Union, even though he almost played the whole game for Manuel Jose's side. The 28-year-old made his debut in a cameo appearance against MC Alger in this month's 2-0 victory in Cairo.
